I’ve finished my peacock drawing. Its all signed and ready for entering into the Parkin drawing competition.

Here is an update of my working on the top of the peacock tail.


So with this, what I did was to shade in areas where there is a dominant colour running through. Then i drew some direction lines of where the feathers went. Then i drew in the major feathers and just approximately put the remaining feathers throughout. Following this it was a matter of shading and colouring feathers one by one to get the general impression of what this area looked like.
